If you really are going to do this, you need to change the name of the picture, so no-one can search on it, anyone could cheat and find it that way... wink

You were all wrong on the first piccy - that was MY inlet doughnut wink

My wild guess for the second piccy would be the oil cooler intake duct support bracket

I'm not sure, but I'd say that there's at least an 80% chance that on my car it has been replaced by cable ties.

Ok I'll give it to flyingcustard. Its from an f40. Slightly deceptive tubi exhausts as are all the same size - (2 outer are exhaust and centre one is from the external wastegate). Standard f40 has smaller centre pipe.

Daves go smile

Ooh, yellow pointy things.

Are they so on day inspection a driver can instantly tell if a wheel nut has moved - they are usually point to point so any movement is easily seen.

Rats, beaten to it wink

1 is either a rear suspension spring or a valve spring (obviously off a 16vt - the 20vt have hydraulic tappets)

Haven't got a clue what 2 is? Is it off a coupe? Maybe some air suspension/hydragas??

3 is a big end or main cap bearing

you have number 3 correct!

number 2 is going to be a good one!!!

there not off a coupe but the coupe does have them!!

just could not find the right photo of them!!

also, as for 1...make a choice... rear spings...or valve springs...

You're both right on the first but wrong on the second, there's just enough detail to see what it is and those two pics are related smile

The third you'll have to keep guessing though laugh

The second must be the pivot for the carburettor float then.

I wondered about the piston ring tool, those I have seen have been more of cylindrical type.

16VT and X1/9 1500

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

Nice write-up on the Abarth, Dave. I like to see an enthusiast who can also write well about what's going on.
