Right I'd bought this on impulse when I was deciding what to do with my car and wasn't sure if I was doing an engine swap or not.

This is in pretty good nick, and is the 20vt model...

Downside is it is without the engine, gearbox and backbox.

Panels are straight, apart from the drivers side wing, and there is a scuff on the rear bumper...

It'd make far more breaking it, but it would seem a waste...

How much would it be worth as a whole - I'd calculated 800 in bits and scrap, but I'd be interested on opinions...

worth more in bits. same with most coupe's at the moment.

Yeah was my fear, thought I was being conservative at £800 too...

Just seems soooooo wasteful...

Same as my silver one, would make more sense to break - but would never forgive myself...

why not drop an engine in it will??

that way you can make some money on it!

I did think of that+ mate, but when you take into account the engine and then the labour (and all the ancillaries including turbo, it would cost more than the extra cash I'd make...

If you fancy it as a project (as I know you could fit an engine yourself easily) let me know...

Oh yeah, don't suppose you have a van I could borrow :-)
