Quite, or old like ours. She will happily (at the age of 14) still fight off any intruders but is too elderly to go into other peoples gardens to poo!
Up yours Photobucket.

You do know there is only one real solution to keeping neighbours' cats out your garden and you may not like the answer. Get your own cat, very territorial they are. Simples. What if you end up with the poofy one who the neighbour's cats come round to beat up?

aparantly a proven remedy is to fill 2l pop bottles with water and place them around the garden.Cats don't like the light that reflects off the water and will stay away. Clearly you have never owned a Bengal!

Clearly you have never owned a Bengal! Got 2 FYI ! Yes they do like water,(well 1 does) and yes they play fetch But the op said nothing about a Bengal coming into the garden! I never said what I put was true,it is just something the girlfriend has always known..an old wives tale but proven aparently.

My Grandad has potatoes with nails sticking out of them - as soon as he sees a cat in his garden he runs out and launches a ninja potato at it.
That'll learn 'em. My Grandad used to shoot 'em with one of those Super Soaker water pistols. unlike some of the other suggestions that is not a bad idea. totally harmless to the cat, though will annoy it i am sure, and you get to have a little fun at the same time

Enforcer had this problem a couple of years ago and he bought one of these . I also bought one based on his recommendation and it does seem to work Mine broke a few months ago and am now getting cats back in the garden I'll be buying another one as soon as I get some spare cash though. Definately get one that can also plug into the mains power, as it'll probably kill off batteries pretty quick. Annoys me that I control where my dogs go to the toilet and have an area of the garden for them, yet cats just roam free and crap anywhere

Isn't a decat bad for your turbo.......? If that's in relation to my turbo failing, then my car has never been decatted and never will No, those plans are in the pipeline for annoying neighbours and the kids they claim to have control of!

Get your own cat. My cat always digs a hole in the flower bed and then covers it up aftewrwards, which is good for my plants, and he keeps all other cats out of the garden. Puuurrrrrrfect.

I don't want *any* animal crapping all over it. Better shoot all them pesky flying things then Neil.

i have the same problem with cats and have tried all sorts, the only thing that has had any effect is when i go out and piss in my garden (this was advise given to me) epically first thing in the morning after a night on the beers, that keeps them away for a while......don’t worry about your neighbors seeing you, they get more embarrassed than you lol. pissing in a bottle then going to the garden is a wiser idea.
Ive also put a layer of white grease all along the top of my fence they climb over, it doesn’t stop them but at least i know they are returning to the owners house covered in grease.

The sight of a pigeon trying to hover so it can eat at the feeder is something amazing... In flight refueling for the flying guano factories then?
