I'm looking to buy a coupe as a daily driver. I'm in no hurry so I can wait for the right car in the right spec and I was going to look for a car with a sunroof. However I read a really good review in one of the forum threads that mentioned wind noise from the sunroof as being intrusive in the cabin. I was wondering what other people's experience is and if this is common.

I have never experienced this problem with my current coop, which is fitted with an electric sunroof, my old 20v NA didnt have one and i cant differentiate between the two in terms of wind noise, one thing i would say is that if you have the cover inside the car closed it can rattle about and is quite annoying, i just leave it open most of the time although i think there is a guide somewhere to resolve this problem. I find the sunroof really useful and easy to use, i would definitely buy one with a sunroof if i was to buy another one in future. hope this helps

The sunroof shouldn't make any noise and is the second most desirable option after aircon. I wouldn't consider any car lacking either option.

And the rattly inner cover can be solved in about ten minutes for probably less than a fiver.
