Within a week my coupe has gone from a 20v in near mint condition, to one that now looks like a knackered 10 year old car! frown

As mentioned in a previous thread, I have a nice dent in my bonnet from a 4x4 trying to get out of a tight parking space.

This evening I added to this by reversing into the corner of a brick wall! cry I now have a vertical dent up my back bumper, and a dent below my O/S rear light cluster - which has a chunk of paint missing! To say I’m gutted is an understatement, I’m pretty sure i started hyperventilating and had a mini panic attack!

Although it was mostly my fault I can't help but feeling a little annoyed with the circumstances. Our street had no electricity this evening for whatever reason, and therefore it was pitch black. As YEDL had dug up half the road I had to park in the doctor/school car park instead of my usual spot on the street. As it was so dark I didn’t notice the waist high brick wall that was at the end of the car park, and went into it at normal reversing speed!

I was just about to spend a good bit of money on the coop getting it a full service, new alarm, new headunit, 12 month tax.............. but don’t really fancy it now on a car that i’m not really proud to show off at the moment!

Suppose it’s not the end of the world though! Just fancied a bit of a rant! wink

Sorry to hear about your new dents frown although as you've said, it's not the end of the world.

Whether you're proud of it or not, it still needs tax and it's service laugh

Bah that sucks mate...on the positive perhaps you'll get a bulk discount on the fixes now that you've got a few body repairs to be done laugh

Ha, yea I'm glad that it still drives perfectly! It's just going to be harder to convince my mates that my coop is an Italian design classic when it looks like a dropped pie! smile

I've picked up the odd carpark ding recently. I'm surprised it took so long to get a few.
Every car I've owned seem to get dings from carpark morons and stones being shot at it from passing cars, drives me nuts grr
