Apologies if the answers are obvious to the "initiated" but;
Went to see a Coupe today (1998 20V T with 69k, camblet done at 44k) and had a q or two;
The steering wheel was "off centre", possible a tracking or steering set up issue?
Oil pressure gauge remained at 3 Bar throughout, only dropping to just below 3 Bar when idling.
Radiator was in need of changing - what kind of price are we talking?

Rad = £220ish from specialist
Steering wheel off, seems to happen a lot but would get tracking checked
Totally normal oil reading - can drop as low as 2 while idling if hot

I thought £220 seemed steep.
Quote of £150 today for rad, fitted.
I need to sell my Alfa, which will probably be on Saturday and it'll be mine with any luck.

£140 fitted - another quote today.
I wouldnt buy a genuine rad if the Alfa variants are anything to go by.
Anyway the sale is off as the buyer of my Alfa has decided he cant find anyone to drive up North with him to collect it. I don't suppose the thought of the train struck him as obvious!

Then I wouldn't spend the extra £80 - why pay £220 when you can get away with £140?
Same goes for all other consumables really.

That included fitting and full flush and new coolant , well worth it IMO I suspect everything costs more down here and I also needed to have it done by a spec as was having other work done too
