Just out of interest, I'd like to know what you think my coupe is worth. Here goes with the spec/history:
1997(R)81,000 miles,4 owners
metallic red/unmarked tan leather
aircon/sunroof
original, unmodified. drives perfectly. No faults.
full history (Fiat,Motormech,AutoItaliana)
bodywork is immaculate with a mirror finish throughout.No rust,stone chips,scratches or dents.Alloys unmarked(refurbed)Have spent £1700 on the bodywork alone.
Within the last 2 years/5000 miles it's had:
New cambelt/auxiliaries/clutch/wishbones/handbrake cable(Motormech),radiator, aircon re-gas,2 new P-Zeros
front brake discs/pads,track rods, wheel bearing,oil cooler+pipes,air flow meter(AutoItaliana)
All bills, old MOTs, all three keys,owners manual,tool kit, cuddly toy
Opinions gratefully received.

£3k - £3.5 IMHO

I think nearer 4k would be achievable if it is mint...however, the mileage will put a lot of higher end buyers off (albeit nonsensically)

Yeah, but thats bockers, he gets confused easily

If you're not selling however, it doesn't make much difference

That's a bit of a wake-up call if I ever wanted to sell. Boohooo. I was hoping she was a little more than that but never mind.

Unfortunately the 'normal' 20vt values appear to have taken a nosedive and may well continue so it'll be worth even less when you come to sell in future but then that's depreciation for you ...you could well get more but only if someone wants your car more than another one for sale. In a strange way, your relatively distant location might help, but then it might not
