Due to an expanding family, she has to go (the car, not the wife ). PX deals offered have been laughable so she will be going privately.

97R, 20VT, Portofino blue, black cloth, 74K miles. Very good unabused condition.

Full history, Fiat and specialist, loads of bills etc. Last two services at Powerfiat. All belts/pulleys done recently with 72K service by Rog. Prior to that at about 36K by Wigan Paul. Sailed through MOT again, good till July 07.

Runs really well and used daily. 2-owners, mine for the last 6 years. Mainly motorway miles and garaged overnight. RAC inspected when I got it and no significant problems in my hands, just had discs/pads when required and new exhaust, battery. Only mods are Peco stainless exhaust, Sparco strut brace, panel filter. Body is very good, interior excellent, full set dial surrounds, 6-CD Clarion. Red, blue, silver keys.

Areas for improvement….. Exterior is very good but not perfect (light alloy bubbling, small stonechips, one or two small parking dents). May need manifold again (replaced about 4yrs ago) as ticking from cold but runs sweetly. Rog recommends new oil cooler at 84K service.

So forget Glass’s guide……in the real world, how much is she worth?

That's encouraging. I was thinking (hoping) to get about that but for PX I have been quoted as low as £1K!!

Any others out there with an opinion on this?

I wouldn't even attempt to px a Coupe. I tried to px my old Coupe back in 2001 and it was the same spec as yours but only had 41k on the clock and was 4 years old at the time and I got offered px deals like 6k and quite a few garages even in 2001 wouldn't take a Coupe in px.

£3.5k on the trader or here, ebay is not really of any use other than expanding the audience. And px with a dealer forget it they buy at bottom book and sell for enthusiast prices.

Yep, £3500 seems about right.

Main difference between mine and yours though is mine has leather, air-con and sunroof, which often are more desrable. Yours though is 10,000miles less though.

I would think £3500 is do-able, and certainly DON'T except less than £3000 absolute minimum.

Oh and one advatge of mine is it is GREEN

I would be well happy with £3.5K. Will have to see whether I can post in the Coops for sale section.

Green....? Murple is the best colour of course.
