Hi,
I'm considering getting an LE. I like the recaros, the crackle finish rocker cover, the strut brace, the 6 speed gearbox and the push button start but I am not so keen on the cosmetic changes. I can paint the wheels silver and paint the mirrors and light cups with the body colour and I can cope with the headlights, red seat inserts and grill. My problem is with the red finish on the steering wheel, doors, handbrake and gearknob. How easy would it be to recolour these in black? Has anyone used an effective leather dye on the Interior leather?
Many thanks for your help
M

Might you be better off with a Plus model?

Yes, but I can't find one with a factory sunroof so this is another option.

Hi if you frequent FB you should find one of my project recoloring my airbag plus seats. The link below might open

https://www.facebook.com/groups/fiatcoupeclubuk/permalink/2163430150480815/

I've changed the colour the centers of the seats and but had the wheel, gear knob, handbrake and door cards retrimmed.

The leather colour kits are available from www.furnitureclinic.co.uk with everything included and full instructions.

2 years have passed and no issues with wear and have reached some hot temps with no transfer to clothes.
