I’m a sailor and I’ve recently got a coupe which will be my only car. I need to transport a small dinghy and it’s equipment. I currently do this by putting it on roof bars on my Skoda fabia estate and have most of the equipment in the car. Obviously the coupe is smaller inside and whilst most of the equipment will fit, some major components will not…

I’d be really interested to hear whether anyone’s had a tow bar recently fitted and has any recommendations of where to buy parts and/or get it fitted.

Equally, if anyone has recommendations for roof bars that fit a coupe? I heard that fiat 500 bars fit, but whether there’s any truth to that? The longer the distance between the bars the better for tying the boat down!

Any info or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I had a towbar fitted to my coupe in 2022 .I bought it from watling towbars and had it fitted by Joe Knight of F.S.C.C check out facebook photos 25th March 2022
I think watling towbars have closed down?? but may have sold business on.Hope you manage to get fixed up .
