I have a rare 98' Nissan Elgrand E50 camper conversion with a broken rear screen, basically my intention is to source a replacement from a breaker & get a company to remove the broken one & fit it.

or if it's close enough, drive the van to the breakers & have the glass company do it there, as it would need removing from the breaking donor vehicle

Would a regular Windscreen company do this? if so can it be done at any address?

Can anyone recommend anyone that could do this? and the rough cost?

May be easier to get the complete tail gate from a scrappy in advance and then have the glass guy remove the glass and fit it at your house.

I sourced my own windscreen for the coupe and had a local company fit it at my house for £75. Rear screens are probably easier to remove but the guy who did mine said the windscreen can sometimes crack when removing it.

Thanks Graham, yes an entire tailgate is certainly the cheaper option - problem is with it being a 90's Jap Import, parts are very hard to source (they do have a decent owners Forum, which I have asked on) I'm struggling to find one within reasonable pick up distance, they are all to far away.

There is on about 20 miles from me but it's in poor condition, hence the idea about getting the windscreen company to meet me at the breakers and do the fitting there if the Seller agrees,

£75 doesn't sound too bad
