Crap happens when you drive like a dickhead.
At least he or she seems not to have hurt anyone else.
16VT and X1/9 1500
We must all do our part for the planet. I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.

I understand he was driving much too fast in the wet, but I would say around 80% if not more of the blame should go to the white caddy van. On the autobahn you've really got to be paying attention as to what's coming up behind you before you pull out in front of someone
Edit: Not even what I would call dangerous speeds, read the description and apparently he was doing 130kmph/80mph

Edit: Not even what I would call dangerous speeds, read the description and apparently he was doing 130kmph/80mph read the description again - he says he was doing 250km/h and was down to about 130km/h ( according to "evaluators") when he actually impacted the barrier - he lost pretty much half his speed with the initial braking and the resultant monumental slide

Are some making excuses for this maniac? Really! 155mph in my book is pretty fast to react to, in a situation such as this. Stupidity & shear luck no one was killed.

I understand he was driving much too fast in the wet, but I would say around 80% if not more of the blame should go to the white caddy van. On the autobahn you've really got to be paying attention as to what's coming up behind you before you pull out in front of someone. The chap in the Coupe was clearly going too fast for the conditions but I would agree that the driver of the van caused the accident. Lane discipline in Germany used to be awesome on the Autobahn. You would rarely get someone pulling out into the path of any fast moving vehicle. Nowadays the total disregard for everyone other than self exists in Germany as it does here. Wouldn't surprise me to discover the van driver actually pulled out on purpose - trying to slow him down. I've lost count of how many times I've spotted those sanctimonious (Frustrated they are not traffic cop) types deliver the "Brake Test" to following drivers in an effort to show they're too close! These are the same kind of folks who pull out in front of people at the last minute causing people the break. They then pass the line of lorries at 1 - 2mph faster causing a huge line of traffic behind them. Once past the trucks they pull back in and accelerate to 70mph - or more. So yes the fellow was going too fast, but he was hardly the only dipstick on that part of the road that day
Gone Audi mad!
