Day 1
Edinburgh-Poolewe c.4.5 hrs, picking up MattB and jimboy en route, Dianne at Poolewe?
Day 2
Poolewe-Plockton via Applecross, coast route (I'll book lunch at Applecross Hotel)
Day 3
Plockton-Glenfinnan via Skye
Day 4
Glenfinnan-home via Crianlarich/Callendar
This was many pages ago so I thought it worth bringing to the front... we have a lunch plan for Friday, any thoughts/preferences for Saturday? Are we still meeting up at the Shell garage on the outskirts of Inverness rather than Poolewe? If, so what time do you think? Coop has MOT and insured with Phil from Glynwood. Will put details on insurance forum but was £254.

Yes, I think it would be good to shatter the peace of Beauly with a complete posse of coupes Coop has MOT and insured with Phil from Glynwood. Will put details on insurance forum but was £254. Great news! Now, no altercations with ferries, please !

(Thankyou Dianne)
That's great, Marko!
If everyone does this- it saves me the cost of getting them made! I've never even tried the 'look' myself on the car- although the I did plenty of viewing trials from a distance. It was my intention that they would be the size of a tax disc.
I was going to try and get about a dozen made. How much will they cost and what will they be printed on? Jim. I don't mind paying a few quid for something that will last as a memento. I have only printed it on cheap plain paper and If you look closely I've used sellotape to stick it to the screen which is messy and if the screen gets any condensation the printed paper won't last to long. I do have a laminator so I could laminate it I suppose and that would solve the moisture problem.

Are we still meeting up at the Shell garage on the outskirts of Inverness rather than Poolewe? If, so what time do you think? Excellent question! Using Google's predicted times it should pan out as follows: 09:30 - Depart FRB McDonalds 11:30 - Arrive House of Bruar 12:00 - Depart House of Bruar 12:50 - Arrive Inverness Shell Filling Station 13:05 - Depart Petrol Station 13:30 - Arrive Priory Hotel Beauly If a 30 minute coffee stop at House of Bruar is too short, we could leave McDonalds earlier (say 09:15) to avoid being late for lunch? Either way, let's allow 15 minutes to refuel and meet in the adjacent Raigmore car park between 12:50 and 13:05.

Well today is the day that the independence convoy will be setting out on their journey around NC500. I'll be keeping an ear on what's happening with this. On a different point, I'm going to get my wheels professionally refurbished & new nuts, steady now..done. Ah! decent weather here & it fairly gets the juices going, happy days.

Fantastic weather for doing the NC500. If my car wasnt in J.M Motors I would be off and up to the West Coast for some exhilerating views and driving. Choice of colours if you are printing your own. Just realised the circles are light cups ! Tell me I'm right Jim

Great original design by DG Looks like JM is going to be pretty stowed out with coupes in the next few weeks

Hey Dianne-
Are we meeting the night before in Inverness for a group food-up..?! g Yes of course, that would be great, where would you suggest. We like Aspendos for Turkish food, but Inverness has a few good places so happy to go along with your choice, just say where and when. We are all booked for the whole trip. Going over next week to take her out for a long run around Mainland to check all Ok after service.

OK people, just to clarify.....A table for ten/twelve! at the Priory Beauly 1.30pm. Tackled the wheels off the Coop today as was home early. Not an easy job for me.. My knees are in bits & of course it started raining half way through the exercise, still at least they will look the part.... Not long now.....

Lunch at Beauly - good stuff Jim! Now what about lunch on Saturday.......a leisurely run from Plockton to Skye (Armadale for the ferry) reveals only one place to eat in that location The Shed but it's tiny and we would overrun it. more to the point every man and his dog may be fighting for a place ... So an option is to head inland a bit to Boadford where there's a greater choice Anyone got form up here?

Aye, I saw that. Obviously tragic, but some thing caused her accident, whether she did something wrong herself or fell ill, who knows.
