On Saturday Left the coupe at garage for wheel alignment, and when I went back a macanic in his thirties offered me £1000 for my blue plus,I burst out laughing but he was deadly serious.i could have punched him in the face cheeky bugger for offering such a low price,I asked him if he knew the car ?? Surprise surprise he has no knowledge of the coupe.
I get the feeling that no coupe will ever be worth much as it does not have that desirable image that attracts collectors. A car has to be worth more than restoration costs to start becoming a viable investment. The Coupe is a long long way away from that.
It will be the NA that's going to be worth the real money eventually.
I was being flippant, but I think you're being crazy!
Sierra Cosworth is cheaper than a 2.0 Sierra Ghia or a classic 911 Turbo is cheaper than it's NA counter part? I've never seen a slower / smaller engined version of the same car being worth more than it's counter parts.
