I have been looking at having my alloy wheels refurbished for some time but have only been able to find the mobile refurb service. Until I found The Wheel Specialist in East Grinstead East Sussex. Although they are a national franchise.

So I thought I'd share some photos of the process involved in case anyone else was looking at having their wheels refurbished. I chose the 1day service so car was dropped off at 8am and was finished at 4.30pm

click to enlarge The wheels are heavily pitted and deep score marks caused by who ever did the previous refurbishment. Im guessing man in a van.

click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge Prep work including sand blasting filling curb and face damage

click to enlarge Powder coating, lacquered and then heat treated. I chose TWS Sport1 which has a high flec content

click to enlarge click to enlarge click to enlarge Finished and back on the car. One very impressed owner. Now I just need to seal and wax them!

Order new nuts from Fiat. Still available. You'd be surprised what they actually look like new. smile

you could always try rubbing up your nuts until they go shiny... personally i tried this with no luck so had to search for nuts on ebay, found some, fitted them to give the nice new nuts finish.
