Just given the coup a good wash in preparation for its summer stint on the road having spent the last 3 months on my drive. I opened the door to give the door ends a clean and got hit by the smell of the leather.

The car maybe 15 years old but it still smells like the day I bought it 8 years ago, probably the same as when it left the forecourt, lovely. Cant wait to get it back on the road.

Might even treat it, with a few cosmetic changes this year.

Agreed, especially if you treat the leather to a nice massage from time to time smile

I can testify to this- I do not have leather, but THERE IS a distinct Coupe smell which I mentioned to Simon the other week. (aside from the leather smell)

I remember it from 14 years ago when I was last an owner and it is definitely stronger on the drivers's side.

I think (in cars without leather) that it is the steering wheel!
