does anybody know if the twin fan setup as seen in a 20vt would fit on a VIS radiator?

It's the same radiator, no?

(I know the way the twin setup works electrically is radically different)

Not the same rad, but similar dimensions I think.

The twin fan is due to having aircon, not because it's a turbo. A 20v VIS with aircon would also have the twin fan, whereas a 20vt with no aircon would have a single fan.

The VIS a/c and none a/c coupes all have a single fan, the induction pipe route and resonators would catch on a twin fan frame so not possible to adapt unless you change the intake, which in turn would kill the low down torque so best as is imo as the large single fan does great job on its own.

Ah yes, you're right, sorry. Checked on Eper and saw it had a single fan for the non-aircon 20v VIS and a different part number for the 20v VIS with aircon fan. Assumed it was a double fan like on the 20vt but it's just a heavier, more powerful single fan for the aircon VIS.

It's bad enough keeping track of this stuff on the 20vt, never mind the NA or VIS versions. At least since (almost) no one around here has a 16v we don't have to worry about those too. tongue

Single fan on the 16v N/A's too, but if you're like me, you change the fan to a push style rather than a suck tongue
