Being located "Downunder", I am somewhat removed from most of my fellow Forum Members and the ease of obtaining parts from most of you.

Today, I had the pleasure of catching up with Boosted7 on the Gold Coast as he is here on holidays to escape the UK weather.

Before he returned "Downunder" (he used to live here), he enquired if I needed any parts brought out. Well, I did and these were supplied by Country Cruising who sent them to Boosted7's UK house for me.

Thanks guys!!!

Oh yes, we had a great seafood lunch washed down by a great white wine; Australian, of course. And my Coupe, is the only one that Boosted7 has seen in his travels here.

Indeed it was a fantastic day and what a pleasure it was to finally meet Graeme and his lovely wife Jan! Not only did they take me on a tour around the spectacular coast line south of surfers paradise, they also treated me to the best fish and chips I've had in years and a very tasty glass or two of wine, and even ice cream to top it all off smile

Thanks so much guys! And of course I have a few photos of Graeme's 16VT (ignore minor bonnet "modification" which was courtesy of Graeme's neighbour who suffered a brain fart while reversing...)

Darn it. Taking things literally again.

When my Mrs said "go jump of a cliff," I ended up with 2 broken legs.

I'm currently boiling my head, which I must say, is fairly painful.

Boiling your head, you say? You'll be in a position to tell us how much it weighs!

It weighs slightly less, now that he's cut off his nose to spite his face...

I wished she'd used her usual riposte of "shove it up your @rse", which I usually find bearable, provided I happen to be holding something fairly small, with smooth edges. I'll certainly never forget the day she said it when I was showing her my new Draper Panel saw.

The most enjoyable experience was when I was in New York, and after being told to "Take a hike !" I spent a most exhilarating afternoon in the Big Apple. Having said that, wearing all terrain boots inside a large tree borne fruit has its limitations.
