^ er, I think you've insulted the man (see first post) I quite liked him. A bit. I think I prefer the artists he influenced though, Bowie, Brian Eno et al.

I liked his work too, but suspect he really would not take himself too seriously....and lets face it, nobody can control what people say about us when we are gone, including Lou Reed!
