My dad's looking to replace his BMW 750i with something a little different and the Nissan Stagea has caught his eye.
I have absolutely no knowledge of them and was hoping someone on here has had some dealings with them...

Anyone have any tips on what to look out for? Different specs to look for, Common faults etc.

As always, any advice greatly appreciated.

I'm sure this is absolutely no help but one of those lives/lived in Gateside - on the road from Perth to Glenrothes.

most of them have got a rb25 the same engine as a skyline gtst they have a ceramic turbo which wont handle more than 0.8 bar of boost but you will get about 300hp at this boost level. with a bigger turbo injectors etc you should be able to get 400+ hp on standard engine internals

i think most of them are automatic which sucks ass

being a old nissan i would have good look for rust especially underneath the car sills etc

He's not really the modding type, so the lack of boost wouldn't really bother him and the BMW he's replacing is an auto. Good shout on the rust issue though, i'll look for a later import.
