What is your view on mounting a bike rack to the coop's boot? Has any one tried it before or it's just not going to hold well as the boot is flippin' flimsy?

I got this one - click to enlarge

It's been discussed quite a lot so a search should bring up a wealth of information, especially if you narrow the search down to this area of the forum.

Hmmm, search engine didn't come back with any results. Maybe because I didn't narrow down the search to this area. I will try again. Thanks stan!

Try "cycle" and "bicycle" in the search terms too, might help.

I've done it and it's been okay. That's been for short distances and on reasonable roads. Paintwork may have been protected by the layer of dirt on it though!

I'm not bothered about the paint work just worried about the boot taking the load. At the end of the day two road bikes shouldn't be too mich anyway? I'll give it a go tomorrow and check how it handles 3h drive to CC. laugh
