So what do we reckon for this weekend? I was really looking forward to sitting watching the practice sessions tomorrow, unfortunately the hospital have other ideas and to top it all off they are sticking those weird drops in your eyes to screw with the focus so even if I could see a telly all I'd see is red, silver, white, green blobs racing around the tracks! Qualifying; 1. Hamilton 2. Vettel 3. Button Podium; 1. Button 2. Alonso 3. hmmm, not sure, might be Vettel or Hamilton, heck it might even be Michael again!

Quali
1 Hamilton 2 Vettel 3 Alonso
Podium
1 Vettel 2 Hamilton 3 Raikkonen
The only safe prediction is Button will have a problem with the vehicle set up.

Well I have just had some bad news for the weekend! Looks like I am going to get to play with helicopters, watch the three days worth of racing and get paid! Such a hard life! Qulaifying: 1. Maldonado 2. Hamilton 3. Alonso Podium: 1. Alonso 2. Webber 3. Schumacher Hamilton will take out Maldonado out of revenge. Oh and Hamilton is flying in with us so if there is a message anyone wants me to send him, just let me know!

So you can drive AT Silverstone, but you can't drive TO Silverstone......
If parking is a problem, Jensen had better keep driving!

Anyone else going tomorrow? I've only got a ticket for the qualifying and I'm hoping 20k don't go and I pootle down and find somewhere to park ok. Ofcourse I'm going in the RS6, so ESP off and sport mode on should be fun in a muddy field

I'm going to the (boat) race on Sunday, corporate hospitality down at Stowe Corner starting with breakfast and finishing at 5, by which time hopefully the crowds will have floated away...

Well this is a shambles isn't it. Even Bernie has been told to stay away and I believe the nutters fans that disregarded the stay away advice are being turned away at the circuit. (That will ease traffic flow ) There is even talk of asking people to stay away tomorrow. Should have gone to Donnington Bernie

Shambles it is. I do feel sorry for the fans (and the organisers!) as the weather has been atrocious, but this just shows the folly of holding one of the best attended sporting events in the country in the middle of a field on a flood plain where the best access is a variety of bridle paths .....

What a shambles. Arrived at 7 to be turned away by a police man.
Parked in a village somewhere and walked 3 miles to the circuit.

Just finished playing cricket in the drizzle and watched the highlights of qualifying; it looked lethal. Some great driving to keep the cars on the track! If this weather continues tomorrow it will be serious fun....

THis is the first GP that i'm having to watch on the BBC (dont get my sky TV set up in my new house for another week).
I cant believe how horrifically bad the coverage is! I'm genuinely shocked how far it has fallen since last year.

The only reason I'm watching the BBC coverage is the absence of the dreaded adverts. Sky do have most of the bases covered - thank heaven for Murray Walker though!
