I won't be there on Saturday night folks. I will be up on Sunday morning for breakfast and a good drive; need to meet pinin to pick up the FMIC later, and I will stop overnight on Sunday on my way to JBTs on Monday to dump the Scottie for a few bits and pieces and a drive home in one of his esteemed vehicles (probably the Saxo).
What time do you plan to breakfast on Sunday morning?

The weather forecast does NOT look clever; watch this space (or the BBC Weather site). If there is snow I won't be coming.....

Where's your sense of adventure Tim? A big of snow won't hurt and it'll make the pics look good.

I will take an executive decision tomorrow lunchtime; it's a long way up and a long way back, and I need to arrange a pickup from pinin prior to dropping my car off at JBTs on the way home. If any of these dominoes is likely to fall over I reckon the rest will topple quickly. I will be glued to the weather forecast tomorrow.... . I can't afford to get stuck anywhere as I have a full day's work scheduled for Tuesday (and I pick up my third Coupe on Wednesday )......

Looks like the forecast is actually pretty good for Sunday now. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it now, due to the in-law's Citroen just breaking down and they are borrowing our Mundeo, so it's just the Fiat left to use for the family on Sunday

Sorry folks, but I'm out. I needed to fit in N Wales with Leicester, and I needed to make a decision today. It is supposed to snow in Kent tomorrow as well, and I don't need to go through what Klaas endured last year.
Any chance of a postponement, as I'd love to do this run some other time? Good luck if you decide to continue, and I will see you all soon,
Tim

Sorry you can't make it Tim. Paul has said there's a weather warning in place in Stoke too, so looks like we're all getting some snow tomorrow. Will have to wait and see what happens tomorrow I suppose

Will have to wait and see what happens tomorrow I suppose .... especially now I'm about to join the Sprinty club ??? I was trying to kill several birds with one stone; see North Wales (where I've never been), pick up my FMIC from Matt (pinin), see you 'orrible lot for a good drive and lunch, and drop the Scottie off at JBT's on Monday. I have parental responsibilities on Monday night, so can't afford to get stuck in the snow anywhere. I KNOW I could get through, but it's all the other ijjits..... Love to do it some other time though, Tim

I'm sure there will be another run out soon Tim. The Alfa Owners Club often has a run out around April/May, so may be worth keeping an eye out on their forum and we could join them, they don't mind ...especially if one of them is driving my Alfa... soon to be on PH!

My wife needs a break and well..........the surf reports look really good for next week I don't know if she's noticed the surfboard shaped bag amongst the luggage yet ! Still I hope you boys and girls have a good run. See you when I get back

Seems like it's just me, porkypaul, lezza and proccy at the moment then, provided they get here. Party in my house if it snows and we can't go for a drive, you all know how much I hate my neighbours Your guest list should help smooth things over.....

Tim I don't often get it right, but I think I made a wise decision. JBT has just texted me to say he has 20cm of snow in Shepshed, and Stoke looked fun. I've been up a few hours watching the cricket in sunny Abu Dhabi, and there was a guy on the radio who had taken 7 hours to do 27 miles on the M25 overnight. See you soon; just hope it melts a bit for Wednesday when I pick the Sprinty up
