So, i should be able to get my car resprayed for relatively cheap, my paint is starting to look tired and isnt shining as much as i would like.

Ive got a few ideas already...

Honda Pirates Black:

BMW Laguna Seca Blue (a bit like sprint blue)

Tahiti Blue:

BMW Carbon Black

F1 Jaguar Green - Amazing colour but i reckon making it will be a lot by the litre!

Renault Liquid Yellow:

Any ideas would be helpful im just looking for something a little different, that isnt too much of a statement like st orange or lime green....

Ive seen the kind of matt blue car that has been posted up on here, love the colour but i think thats a lambo colour, which will come with a price tag!

Cheers,

Dom.

My Brother just had his Brera resprayed in Alfa 8c Red... It looks AMAZING! Paint is very very expensive. It cost £1400 trade price just for the paint!

I would LOVE to have done my Coupe in that colour frown Too Late now

First off pick the colour you like not what people tell you , its your car.

That jag colour as long as its not a 3 stage pearl wont cost any more then the others . A pearl metallic may cost a little more then a standard metallic but not much more.
Exmaple of pearl met is moon grey and std met portofino, a 3 stage pearl is simply a pearl coat over a basecoat colour such as some lambo colours.

A lambo colour wont cost any more then a Fiat colour again unless a 3 stage pearl or tinted clear/candy colour.

what will effect price is paint manufacture for the paint ie .
cheap basecoat say £30+ a litre or more premium brands such as PPG/Standox/Sikkens which will double the cost or more.
Same for clearcoat choice.
Put this way i could buy a 5 litre tin of same colour and spend around £150 or £500+ just for a standard gloss or metallic.

A matt colour would add the cost of matte agent on top . But i wouldnt choose this as nice as it does look.If you really want matt i would get it wrapped in matt vinyl.

if i had mine resprayed again i'd definitely consider 'kingfisher blue'.... I remember it used to be an alfa colour on the 145 models, i think i've recently seen some mazda's in the same colour?!?
coupe would look awesome in that colour!

I am thinking that pirates black would suit the car, with the dark purple in the light...

But part of me would like to keep it green, for some strange reason?

Mario that alfa 8c red is nice, reminds me of the dark red you can get RX8s in. Mazda Velocity Red is my fav red though.

Its always good to get some ideas though. I am thinking pirates black...
