just a heads up went to look at a coupe today as coming back to the fold

this is the car i thought could be a cheap bargain... well its got alot of issues and poorly engine.

sunroof was stuck open, dent in the rear quarter touched up with totaly different shade of blue paint. VERY VERY rusty by the radiator in the engine bay and on the front crossmember. paint is really thin showing undercoat in numberous places, and the engine strugles to fire up and shakes like mad and oil pressure when hot dropped to around 1.5bar. i didnt bother to do a compression test as i walked away.

i know it seems like im totaly bashing this car but just warning others.

there was no smoke from the exhaust though so thats good i guess lol..

the trader said he drove it back from peterboro and he got it from a main dealer as a part ex they took in..

oh and only one key the metal key

to be fair the struggling to start could be to re-furbed injectors, mine has never really started as quickly since I fitted a re-furbed set, something to do with replacement pintels (I think) not being exactly the same as the OE ones.

Knackered top engine mount can cause the shaking as well.

Oil pressure? Now there's a can of worms just waiting to be opened
