Unashamedly copied from alfaowner.com (sorry Gaz) Sunday 8th May. Meeting up at the Holiday Inn, Chester West near Northop at around 10am, leaving for the run at 10.30 - 11.00am. Hopefully we will have other marques in attendance again like we did last year. Failing that, lets be having as many Alfas as we can manage!
Planned route and itinerary so far, may change slightly. Starting at the hotel and heading off on the A55 to Bangor, a dual carriageway but very scenic and with tunnels for those of you with exhausts and engines worth hearing in all their glory, or if you just like to be a bit anti social like me! Stopping off at the services just off the A55/A5 for a catch up and comfort break. Then off onto the country roads and heading off over to Bala and the next meeting/stop point at the Lake car park for more catch up, photos, food etc. After lunch we will then head up into the mountains and to the triangle where you can do as many laps as you like or just stand by and take some photos. You need to do at least one lap though, its just the law! Once we're all done here, we will then head off up the A5 and over the Horseshoe Pass (very scenic) and then back up to the start/finish point back at the Holiday Inn in Chester. Then we will let you slope off home
Google map planned route: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&so...84&ie=UTF8&z=9Anyone fancy this? Was a good day last year Last years thread Will be mainly Alfas', but will be a few Fiats' and Lancias' too I'm hoping to attend, but it's fallen on my weekend in work this year, so may have to wait until nearer the time to confirm. Could still meet everyone at the Holiday Inn, Chester though and could see you all off Stick your names down: 1. Theresa (maybe part of the run).

can't make it this year regrettably, but hope to be there next year. for all those considering it, you will be hard pushed to find better roads for driving - well worth the trek

I've heard there's going to be a fuel protest "go slow" on this date and on this road?

I've heard there's going to be a fuel protest "go slow" on this date and on this road? There is, but it'll be heading in the opposite direction. This run will be going from Chester area to Llandudno/Bangor and surroundings, whereas the fuel protest will be leaving Llandudno and heading for Chester, Stanlow, etc. So, loads of random cars on one side doing a 'go slow' of 40mph and loads of Italian cars on the other side doing a 'go sensibly fast' I know which side I'm on
