OK guys, after trying and failing to pull off the event at motormania earlier in the year, I'll stick my neck out and ask if any other Scottish owners are up for a social?

Count me in too. I'm still planning to try and organise a karting event at knockhill for spring time for all Scottish members. My finger seems to be firmly stuck up my **** though.

DOn't mind, thought the Aberdeen mafia might want a quick blast between Xmas and New Year (maybe a quick blast out by bridge of Feugh or however you spell it) and look to get a propoer Scotts meet together sometime in the new year?

That sound like a plan. I should be around for most of the time. Hopefully the roads wont be too nasty.

So, for those that fancy it, how about meet in the car park by the bridge of fccuk on the 29th? say 11 am? quick coffee, frighten the natives, blast hrough the lanes? We can all have a laugh at the sad Xmas jumpers we'll all be wearing

Ah good show, just give me a phone at work or pop in past and we'll arrange fitting. We're obviously VERY busy at this time of year, but fellow Coupé owners come first.

Tartan you are right, most paople are going to be tied up (or is that just me, those anne sumers vouchers are a lot of fun) over Christmas, and we could do with a decent New Years meet. The Weekends are the 31st-1st, 7 - 8th, 14 - 15th, anyone with thoughts on date/venue?

I should be fine for any of them, apart from possibly the 1st . I'm still up for the 29th though, if i'm around. Even if there's only a couple of us.

I'm going to be going stir crazy by the 29th, so I'll be out there, anyone else fancies it then great. There are some superb roads out that way, and I have an idea to run past you guys for something to try in the summer. I got given a great book from the 50's outlining 'Challenging and informative routes in Scotland for the touring driver' that might provide some fun routes to try if the roads are stil there :-)

The language used to describe driving in Scotland would make you cry (more than actually trying to drive in Glasgow!). If I get a chance, I'll scan some of the route descriptions and maps, funny isn'nt in it :-)

I'd def be up for a meet as well don't mind travelling as long as I can get more than 3 secs off my work at a time!! Would have to get rid of the embarrasing dings down the sides of my coop taken care of first (or is this a standard coupe feature!!) and I'd have to drive at the back of the pack otherwise you guys wouldn't be able to see through my smoke screen!! Is Bathgate/Livingston area not supposed to be the most central point of central Scotland??
