It's taken me only a mere 5 weekends solid to extend the garage that was just 150mm too short. But finally after blood sweat and tears its finished - stealing the 150mm from the kitchen. I cut the red tape and had the grand unveiling - shoehorning the coupe inside with only just a few inches to spare. The wife is more convinced more strongly than ever that my OCD is getting worse and even I'm having to concede that she might just have a point. In my defence though, after reading the shocking number incidents of mindless vandalism being inflicted to coupes on this site, no one could blame me for taking 150mm of her (I mean our) kitchen - as it was only a matter of time before my car got done (esp. around where I live) so I'm relieved I've finally finished it and tucked the car away. :)Now I can lay awake at night worrying about relative humidity levels and rust instead (those plates will get me in trouble one day) Front: back: any excuse to put up coupe pics.: p.s. I don't care about the OCD alegation, so I bought a humitiy meter from Maplin for a fiver - does anyone know what max should be to avoid the tinworm?

Now that is TIGHT! You are either very slim or you use the sunroof to get in and out! I would definitely put nice soft carpet on the walls on every side. Nice Coupe!

Nice work there mate.Could you not have stuck 12 inches on the front though ? Get some good ventilation in there and you should be ok.

Top Job! Tight indeed!, a front bumper shaped bulge in the garage door would've worked Looking at this, maybe my garage isn't so small, was figuring the exit strategy too... ski hatch? Good victory for the guys, I mean all we need is a microwave and a tidy set of wheels for goodness sakes! Oh some carpet underneath will help too.

As said above. Definitely invest in some carpent tiles, or foam rubber on the nearest parts of the garage to the car. Plus where the doors open.
Just one small mistake and the carpent/foam rubber will protect your pride and joy.
I'm guessing it's a "flintstones hole in the floor" you use to exit the vehicle through?
:-)

Just leave the handbrake off and push the car out if you break that 13 stone barrier

Looks like you could have a side door to line up where you would open the drivers door.

Truly remarkable sir.
A complex winch system based around your other halves washing machine should suffice nicely. Allowing you disembark the coupe, set the machine to "Half Spin (40 degrees should do nicely) then simply close garage door as your car is winched as if by magic into your garage.
Also pitch the idea making a hole for the dishwasher to fit in the garage so you can simply slot your alloys wheels in when they need a quick clean.
(P.S) Tumble dryers are the ultimate in dehumidification.

Took a bit more than 5 weeks to do though. It's also insulated & heated + it has a pitched roof so I've got room for all those essential coupe spare parts. So once I we've departed it could be a play/games room for those who don't like cars. Dan, which is your fave car of the pair? or need I ask? Ohh, and it IS known as the shrine too
