Roadking OP Club member 1809 Forum is my life Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 6,144 Southampton, Hants	Anyone removed the FIAT badge from the rear? Mine is looking sad, but I'm wary of making things look worse. My Sprinty had already had it removed. Any advice gratefully received, as I'd like it done before Phil works his magic. I've checked the How Tos but it doesn't appear to be there. "RK's way seems the most sensible to me". ali_hire 16 Dec 2010

pinin_prestatyn Forum veteran Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 19,937 North wales	If Phil wasn't removing it, I'd heat it up first using a hair dryer, gently prise it off using your fingers or a breadknife, being careful not to mark the paint. Then finally use some sticky stuff remover to clear the remnants (or white spirit alternatively). Coopless!

Nello Unregistered N	Patch after removing mine theres a slight 'tide' mark from the the lacquer that lifted on removal? Think this was from the years its been there as I used a hairdryer etc. to avoid any paint damage. Is this something your paint correction could remove? I've haven't the bottle to try wet and drying it myself for fear of making it worse... Last edited by Nello; 27/07/2010 14:17.
