Hmmm,

Coupe prices are at rock bottom now with out much of a sign to improvement.
Even a very good standard 20vt (green) is going for around 1.5-2k (if they indeed sell)

My advice, sorn it and take it off the road as any money you sell if for will unlikely reflect the investment its received

I'm having a similar dilema with my beloved Sprint Blue 2.0vt. The MOT is looming next month, there are various issues that have been blighting her recently, and I reckon it might be costly getting her through.
I went to look at some other stylish, and slightly more sensible Italian cars, and was quoted an insultingly low part-exchange price for my Coop, which does not reflect the amount of time and money that has gone into her i.e. uprated turbo, re-bored cylinders, new speakers and sub-woofer, not to mention all the other repairs and maintenance.
Keeping my Coop on the road will inevitably mean more expense, some might say good money after bad, and whilst a newer car might give fewer problems initially, I really don't think there is a better (or faster) car than my Coop for the money.
