I am nearly 40 and I think the mid life crisis is over before it ever began.

At the weekend I laid down a deposit on a boring run of the mill diesel mile muncher with a ton of space. Roof bars on top and 7 (ish seats).

3+ years of ownership and I have finally realised that with my kids getting older I need more space and with my job involving lots of miles (and the price of petrol) I really cant justify the expense of keeping the coupe. Despite it being fanstastic value.

It was fun and when I first saw a coupe when I was 25 (and they had just been released) I said to my dad that I would have one. In the end I had three.

This forum has been fantastic, its one of THE best sources of car info I have come across. I am sure I will stay around.. so the saving starts properly now, I am not giving up on life, I want a sensible car and a rwd fun car..

968 vs Elise Vs Caterham 7... just need to get saving. and sell my plus laugh

I hope you do smile

Shame you're selling, but good luck with your future cars.

Oi, you can't go yet, you've got some software to finish!

Besides, if you think your MLC is over at forty - wait till you get to my age and discover it's barely begun!

Bit of a contradiction Sugerbear!

I'm in the throes of MLC and can recommend diesel mile muncher/Sei Sporting and a Cerb.

Letting a Plus go will be hard though - particularly when you watch it drive off into the distance.

Ahem. Is it time to bring out the Wimoway pictures again?

It's your own fault for eating all my baby voles.

Good luck with your new drives SB, still keeping my coupe like you say fantastic value for money, my commute is only 10 miles so although understand where your coming from regarding fuel costs will stick with her.
Keep in touch with the forum.

Peter.
