I am nearly 40 and I think the mid life crisis is over before it ever began.
At the weekend I laid down a deposit on a boring run of the mill diesel mile muncher with a ton of space. Roof bars on top and 7 (ish seats).
3+ years of ownership and I have finally realised that with my kids getting older I need more space and with my job involving lots of miles (and the price of petrol) I really cant justify the expense of keeping the coupe. Despite it being fanstastic value.
It was fun and when I first saw a coupe when I was 25 (and they had just been released) I said to my dad that I would have one. In the end I had three.
This forum has been fantastic, its one of THE best sources of car info I have come across. I am sure I will stay around.. so the saving starts properly now, I am not giving up on life, I want a sensible car and a rwd fun car..
