Anyway,back to reality.
It would be nice to know exactly what the problem with the oil pressure was....if there was a problem that is.

well it's an example of low oil pressure not bothering an owner, so maybe it adds some balance to djmobi's thinking....maybe you should have thought that one out yourself. crazy

My car is always at 3 Bar.....but it makes no difference at all to this thread.
He is not thinking of buying your car with low oil pressure or my one with high oil pressure so again I say.....what difference does it make ?

djmobi..my car still holds good oil pressure 2.5 bar at its hottest it just goes to show that good oil pressure doesn't mean the motor is good as i have one cylinder thats lost comp..my car however is for sale theres an idea for you.. new wishbones ,brake lines, flexis, discs, pads, coil packs, maf, temp sensor, thermo, cam belt, the pulley of death upgrade,6 paddle clutch, team dynamic 17"alloys, piu front, plus clocks, clock rings, mint leather interior, tinted windows, stainless cat back..only 54k, in rosso red .. county cruising have a good strong low miles engine with excellent oil pressure they will supply and fit for 1k...its a real looker and where else would you get a car with all that just done new stuff for under 3k as thats what it would owe you with the new engine in...i may even be able to have it with an engine in very quickly for sale at 2.5k depending on john

If you have any doubts about the seller or the car, walk away.

Simple as that.

The seller is probably perfectly genuine and all it needs is a new gauge...would just be nice to confirm that with a bit of a chat before I drive 2 hours to go and see the car.

Brackley is convenient for London and Birmingham and manages to be quiet with a half decent night life if you dont fancy travelling.....plus I live 30 seconds walk away from the Mercedes GP HQ.......cant get much better than that.

Plus I'm in close proximity to both Solo Italia and Motormech....all I need now is to finally buy a coop
