good luck kenneth...
in a similar boat as my modded engine was cooked after around 6000 miles.... all my own fault tho as ran super rich for ages!
hopefully be stripped and rebuilt within next 10 days... i'm praying its just the rings on my wossners that are the cause of my low compressions... fingers crossed!
being rebuilt with much larger t34 hybrid and also uprated oil cooler!

What is your new spec then kenneth??
What make pistons this time?
more importantly what turbo.... tongue

I have used a higer CR this time, shorter piston and longer rods.
The turbo is a Garret gt3582 with a twinscroll house from ATP.
I am using 8 x 480 cc injectors, and omex 710 to control it.
then head have been ported, and(not know the right word), but it have been open back on the valve I take some picture of it.
But i recharge my camara, and take some pic soon.

Hi Kenneth

only just caught up with this, alot of changes happening - I see you decided to go to the kappa manifold rather than your old custom one - for better peak flow?

What size throttle body are you going to run?

Whats the A/R on the exhaust turbine, this will mean a new twin scroll manifold and I assume twin external wastegates? - like the evo guys 2 40mm external gates?

Anyway - sounds like a seriuos bit of kit you are building which will have plently of power, good luck with the build

Hi Saint

Yep everything is changed (Piston/rods/crank/cam and so on)..
Yep i did go the "kappa" way on the manifold, and then 8 510 cc injectors and a 75mm(or 77 cant remember) throttle from the alfa v6.

Yeah, I see you uped the CR

What brand pistons - you obviously moved away from the wossner ones? and which brand rods, as you say longer roads and shorter pistons are these your own design and custom made, maybe interested myself as I assume you have got a better bore to storke ratio - and CR 9:1?

PM me if you like about the pistons as I don't want to take over your project thread

Hello Kenneth,

what uprated 5th gear have you used?!
Is it the 0,862 gear ratio, which can be ordered from Baccioromano in Italia?!
Have you done something else to get the gearbox more durable (for example streghtening plate)?!
Thank you
Juergen

Hello Ken,

I'm half way through building something very similar to you with what looks to be identical internals (maybe from the same source). Looks like you're making good progress with it smile What are your chosen cam specs and are you sticking with sodium valves ?
I'd love one of those manifolds if it wasn't for the constraints of the delta engine bay.

I'm following closely, keep us posted with results.

Richard
