Seen this on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?V...bayphotohostingCalled the guy he said his dad bought it off him and fixed it up - it was a write off cat C.....the guy deals in salvaged cars. He said it had back end damage - needed new bumper, back quarter and boot - ins refused to fix it. It has no service history and he said his dad services it himself??? He didn't know if cam belt had been done or not.... has a VIC and on HPI shows as cat c..says he is fine with a car inspection... ....what do you think?

Depends on how much they want! If the work has been done good and they want 1k then go for it! My old man ahas owned his own garage for up to 30 years now and we have had many Cat C and D cars! Granted we knew about the repair as we did it ourselves!

Sorry didn't see the full page when I first viewed it! £3500 is way to much! I would sell mine for that with no Damage and clear HPI!

Amazing what people will pay even when there written off just because of the mileage.
People worried about floor stabalizer being marked but dont care at the cars being jigged & cat c'd/? Hmmmmmm
Solo Italia has got it right, people are willing to buy anything, insurance loss whatever as long as its LOW MILEAGE.
Shame eh.

That was bezzers and then IJK's on here.
Damage was quite nasty really. Yep thats my old car Read Kevs link above for full story Ask him if there is any smoke from the turbo. When I sold it to IJK it had knackered turbo seals and used to smoke like a trooper !!!! And its chipped It DID have a Full Service History.

3 and half grand…….. Wondered if I’d see this again after Carl told me It had sold at auction. It still does have full service history, It just happens to be in my Kitchen Drawer. I offered the history & Keys to the bloke who came to take it off tho the knackers yard, only to be told, “Nah. Just need one key to drive it on and off the low loader.” Turbo was chuffing when I had it. True. Just glad I didn’t get it sorted before the crazed old boot drove into me. Still, She probably did me a favour, I am well chuffed with my Ink Black, CarlT Supplied motor!
