Well i`m hopefully gonna meet up with H2ypr and Sparkyman on their road down past Abington services but seeing as your in Glasgow you might be able to meet up with them closer to home .

Baz how long roughly from abbington sevices to the lakes ?

Reason is the car is loosing some coolant and may have to stop and check it adding more time onto the journey.
Mates hopefully going to put in a new bonnet release cable so I can get the dam thing open as I have already had to cut away the mesh Hopefully its just the expansion cap thats gone.

I think it`s gonna be roughly 150 miles to our hotel from Abington,I`m assuming we`ll need to get booked in before we meet up with the rest of the coopsters.

Is it just leaking from the cap? You`d be better getting a new one popped on just to be on the safe side. My old cap was leaving little marks of dried out anti-freeze round about the neck of the expansion tank. I just ordered a new tank and bottle from Alternative Autos. I think it was just under £30 including VAT and P+P and was delivered very quickly.

Well i took it as around 150miles from where i am to roughly the correct area. To the travelodge i think its around 160-170.
