I have taken a blown cr turbo off my old coupe . It's of the hybrid variety. I have now sent it of to universal turbo to find out the spec. They rang me saying the bearings have gone and it need the housing machining also. 400 plus vat . I asked them to spec the turbo for me which they are now doing.

A. I hope they don't rip me off saying it's a low spec already when it's not and
B. Has anyone experience with their hybrids I want to go to 340ish bhp can they take me there😆!
I already have a 298bhp coupe I want more from my other

It depends on the spec of the hybrid. Let us know the spec. that Universal Turbos come back with:

>compressor trim
>turbine trim
>turbine housing a/r

Compressor trim is 62 think the turbine is 48 and not sure about housing a/r . I have given them the go ahead for what they call stage 3 £550 all in , they said it's good for 320 to 350bhp . If I see 320 then I will be satisfied but I know I won't be seeing 350bhp with out lots of cylinder head work

Yep 320 bhp is about spot on.

Well we will see once I salvage some supporting mods

well i fitted the turbo, done less than 100 miles on it and its leaking oil into the exhaust!
waiting to speak to someone "technical" tomorrow. pretty sure they gave me a years warranty which has expired. i'm going to be pissed if they don't sort it for free though

the one way breather vale is working correctly so it cant be that
