Hello. i have fiat coupe 16vt with the following mods
forged engine (rods, pistons, bearings, head bolts, rod bolts, head gasket, NA camshaft)
siemense deka 630cc injectors front mount intercooler lancia kappa inlet manifold tubular exhaust manifold Garrett GTX2871 turbo tial 38mm external wastegate 2.5" downpipe with QTP electric cut out on the downpipe for fast exhaust out under the passenger seat lighten flywheel forged clutch
my problem is with the engine menegment
what kind of ECU you recommended that work well? im from ISRAEL and most of tuners here work with Haltech and 1 or 2 working with Fueltech and Megasquirt
i have some maps from some tuner which memeber here about 5-6 maps, the maps were made for other setup but they never work'd
AFR was bad all time under WOT always 10's AFR no matter what i did. no vaccum leaks, all sensors work as they should from data logging
so i dont belive in this chip's, they didnt work for me.
looking for good managment.
or a good tuner that could promise me he can set chip for good well working

Probably late reply, but... OEM ecu is robust item, if you dont want fancy features or not planing to change setup in near future. Remote tuning(chipping) 20years old car+management can results as you mentioned. Its realy need to be done in person. Aftermarket ecu, it realy doesnt matter for you, i would choose solution from most skilled/referenced person you thrust a most. Its more important. Then you can run megasquirt or pectel, depends on your vallet

I don´t think so - remote maping of somehow tuned car is pain
I cannot imagine how my coupe could be remote mapped - maybe during WOT the results could be satisfing, but idle, part throttle- no way... (I´was thinking about remote mappig based on Flea chip) at the end I´m glad that Phob was patient and did some tuning, wich improves driveability, performance and consumption dramatically (in comparison to previous attemp to tune it)...
there are to much variables (even the egines can have same setup, there is difference of proper way of sensor setting, and other problems /leaks, restrictive parts of intake/exhaust, cam timing which affects behaviour of the tune...)
mabe ther it a way to rebuilt the ecu by RP-lab.com which tranform it to fully mapable and you can map it by yourself withou spending fortune to convert to some programmable unit wich change of wiring loom etc...

There are some coupe in France which runs with tunerpro (emulator) on stock ECU (mine included and also the most powerful one 635hp+/750Nm) so i don't think that even the stock ECU is very limiting on power goals and driveability.
Be aware that if your coupe is not properly reacting to different chip's it might be a bad sensor (a 20vt had this symptoms due to a bad lambda sensor which was brand new). You may have to change every sensor needed for your engine management.
I would advise you to take an ECU that your tuner is able to work with and already has good results.
Is your wastegate routed to the atmosphere? (it should be if you are aiming for good power like 450hp+).
