Hi,
Unfortunately I have to sell my Coupe, gutted but these things happen.

I'm trying to understand if the 16v non turbo carries any more value than the 20v due to numbers on the road. There are now less than 45 of the non turbo and therefor I can't find any for sale to make a judgement.

Sorry if this has been asked before, I have a broom yellow 16v non turbo plus model with leather and aircon

I will be advertising her later but was interested to now how I should price her vs a similar 20v non turbo.

Thanks in advance.

Asking price should reflect the condition and history, rather than some pre-determined notion based on the model.

Or in plain English, a good 16v N/A is worth more than an average 20V N/A (or turbo, for that matter...)

Forgive me for being picky but to the best of my knowledge a 16v cannot be described as a "plus" model - these were later 20vt's kitted out with all sorts of goodies which Fiat were keen to use up.

If it has been fitted with some of the extras, fair enough but best to avoid that particular description.

Good luck with the sale anyhow smile

The "plus" designation was used in Europe to describe early 16v/t models with extras such as leather and aircon. In the UK it was only used on the later, err, Plus models.

Thanks for that clarification Dave. I note that the "plus" designation doesn't appear to have applied to 16v, i.e. non-turbo, models....

Thanks for the replies and clarity.

I agree totally that a price should reflect condition and I would look at similar models to determine the cost. My question was only due to the lack of 16v non turbos to compare against. In the same theory a mk1 golf GTI is worth more than a mk2 golf GTI

I mentioned plus as it was on this forum that I discover the early models with aircon and leather were called plus. Certainly not like the plus trim on the 20v newer cars. Thanks Dave for clearing it up.

I'll check them out, thanks for your time in finding them.

Billybray1, You are allowed to post Gumtree and eBay auctions in their own area of the marketplace. I have moved your post there.

Here's the link.
