As Szkom has said, the rear "brace" only stiffens the rear bulkhead between the two rear seatbelt mounts (which was hardly a flexible section of the bodyshell anyway). It is essentially just a bit of cosmetic bling and serves no useful purpose (unless the purpose is to add cosmetic bling.... ) The upper front brace is very worthwhile - it certainly adds quite a bit of precision - you will feel it most in the form of sharper turn-in, especially when changing from one direction to another (as opposed to just turning in from a straight line). As for brand - either the Sparco brac fitted to LEs and Pluses, or the aftermarket OMP brace

To not open a new thread I wanted to mentón for te 16vt guys I hace bought this on ebays: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/FIAT-COUPE-STRUT-BRACE-/172501105434 I hace received it today and the bonnet hits on it and doesnt close. Has anyone bought this ítem and had the same issue?

Hi,
have now changed cars from a 20V N/A to a 20V VIS.
just to be clear in my own mind will a OMP strut brace MA/1732 fit a 20V VIS ?
if not which strut brace does ?
