Weather report for next weekend is presently 23 degrees and dry so fingers crossed it holds so the guys camping don't get drowned.

For people camping please can you go and see Liz when you arrive so she can direct you to our allocated area and show you the showers etc, costs for the pitch are £10.00.

The general plan is we'll have access to the function room from midday Saturday, there's a few arriving Friday night and Saturday morning from Europe, people can start arriving any time after 1pm, the Drum will be serving lunch or there's a few places in Upton along with several pubs all serving pretty good grub, a fish and chips shop and a good bakers.

Hog roast at the Drum will start around 7pm, live entertainment around 8.30pm, Jenny is performing 2x 1hr slots so we'll be ending the evening around midnight.

Breakfast Sunday morning will start sharp at 9am, please buy your breakfast raffle ticket the night before from one of the bar staff, full English is £6.50, Liz has asked me to stress we need to be on time as her cleaning staff arrive at 10.30am so no dilly-dally about please.

The convoy from the Drum to Gaydon is presently pencilled to leaving between 11.30am-12.00pm, we'll annoy the locals nicely so out on to the A38 and head south to join the M50, M5 and M40 to Gaydon.
Due to the number of cars we won't be able to use the Malt Shovel car park as they don't have enough spaces, please park in the top over flow car park for the British Motor Museum, it's only a short walk to the village, anyone who'd struggle with walking of course takes preference to park at the pub.

Just seen the weather forecast for the weekend, wow I might take my coat off.

This weekends events are shared with the Royal Three counties show, basically this lot below......



.......... which by 6pm today will be twice the size, then we have the visiteors traffic Staurday and Sunday so let me give you guys the heads up on the most direct routes in so you're not stuck sitting in the traffic for the Three counties, it will be busy.

North bound M5 get off at junction 9 heading for Tewkesbury, follow the A438 to the high street, turn left at the mini roundabout, along Mythe road for half a mile then left back on to the A438 heading for Ledbury, over a single lane bridge with traffic lights, follow that road until you see the B4221 on the right sign posted Upton Upon Severn, turn right and follow that road for 3.5 miles and you'll find the Drum and Monkey on the left.

South bound M5 do not get off at junction 7, stay on the M5 heading south and get off at junction 8, head West on the M50 and exit at junction 1 heading south towards Tewkesbury on the A38, turn right onto the A438, single road over the bridge with traffic lights and then follow the above route in on the B4221.

M50 heading East stay on until junction 1, if you get off at junction 2 you'll be stuck in the traffic coming over/around the Malvern hills so carry on to junction 1, head South on the A38 towards Tewkesbury and follow the route in via the B4221.

Anyone heading West on a none motorway route, head for Tewkesbury on the A46, follow the route in after the high street, if we can all travel in via the B4221 you won't experience any delays as we'll be well away from the thousands travelling to the Three Counties.
