I'm about to insure the coop again after being rear ended a year ago.
This time the coop will be a 2nd car as I got myself a MCS to run around in.
I'm 33 living in a ox16 postcode, 6 points, 1 non fault accident. 3k per annum.
Glynwood £429
Adrian Flux £315
Just waiting on my current broker Noel Dazely for a quote.
The coop is modified too, turbo, exhaust etc
Are these prices sounding reasonable ?
The Glynwood was a bit high I thought considering I paid £453 when the coop was my daily driver.

I've just had a quote from a new broker that we haven't seen on the forum before

The insurance adviser is an ex Coupe owner and has a bit of a soft spot for them

For my car, fully comp, all mods declared (it was a looong list), 3,000 miles pa, £7,500 agreed value, trackday cover included, 90 days euro driving included, UK and Euro breakdown and recovery included

Premium - £245 laugh

That's a good price Nigel.
Mine was £300 fully comp on 3k per annum with mods.
Plus I have collected 6 points and 1 non fault accident.

Not tried Peter best before would be interested in Nigel's secret broker too. Flux have been cheapest for me for several years around the £330 mark, so very interested in trying elsewhere come renewal time!

Who did you get that price with Nigel? I'm about to put mine back on the road after nearly 2.5 years but as a second car so cheaper the better insurance wise.

One thing to watch is the terms of the breakdown cover. I was looking to re-insure my X1/9 and got quotes from several specialist companies that looked good.

However the breakdown cover offered on the policies were simply £250 towards the cost of a breakdown, not proper roadside assistance and recovery.

16VT and X1/9 1500

We must all do our part for the planet.
I unplugged a row of electric cars that nobody was using.
