Well I like the look of the graphs at the start of this thread much more than the ones pompously shown by deltaparts.
All that effort, ported cylinderhead, bespoke manifolds and the legend (in his own mind) behind it and it's hardly a pub brag max HP above KJ's much simpler work. Poor attempt IMO.

Technics, don't fool yourself, he's nowt like what he makes out to be, bumbling amateur at best.

It's certainly not me, I'd be ashamed to show that kind of effort.

Back onto the topic of the thread, does this mean the power race is close to breaking 500bhp for a UK 16VT coupe. Anyone working on it?

Well I'm not doing anything, I'm happy with what I have, but if I wanted more power, I could just slap a GT35 on, dis-like the boost threshold and just be spinning my wheels everywhere and breaking gearboxes at the same time. As for kj16v, he's been strangely quiet of recent

After further reading, it seems the chap already mentioned over on pistonheads is talking of 500bhp in the near future. He has some eletrical issues but seems to think he's on the case. I guess he has gearboxes and engines a plenty lined up in the spares yard.

I think in terms of performance, the italians showed that most of the capability can be reached with 400bhp, lightened body and 4wd gear from the lancia platform.

I'm a little bit surprised to not see hard tuned 16v engines... I come from Italy, where is definitely the most known, tuned and used in dragraces.

Finnish x1/9 guy built a new engine: 648,3hp/7894 rpm, 651.9 Nm/6570 rpm @ 1,57 bar.

Same X1/9 made 326 km/h (202.57 mph) in 1 Mile standing start competition last Saturday in Lappeenranta/Finland.

Fastest motorcycle made 407 km/h (252.9 mph).

E85 fuel is now totally IN in Finland (that is pump fuel as well by us).

First reg plate, start time, 1/4 mile, top speed etc.
