hi got a v reg yellow 20 vt very nice paint work and lots of history , but as knocking crank i would like to sell as full car what can i expect for it

Not much as a whole car, worth more in bits.

Unless you can find someone who is convinced it can be fixed for very little then your market to sell to is down to almost zero :-(

Sounds like whoever buys it should be reckoning on a bottom end rebuild at least. before any other issues.

So if you'd get £2K mint condition, then I'd be knocking at least a £1K off, and then be looking for even more off for any other faults/immediate maintennance.

Thanks for the advice lads , i have put it up for sale in the for sale section of this forum, i would prefer to sell to some one that will repair it and keep it on the road, i think somewhere around £600 i would let it go , like others have said i know i would get a lot more breaking it but that involves time, which i dont have much of at the moment.So offers above £600 and it can go. Some one above mentioned about the car being mint its not mint , think it had new pait about 4 years ago so still very good.

no leather , i got all the little nigle faults sorted and got the air con working my next step was to find a nice leather set of seats but this fault happened and i lost interest pitty i know , love the car if i had a spare money i would repair, i did see a complete engine on ebay other day £250 and said it was good runner and was tempted , but it would sit there and i would never get time to fit it.
