(Anglian) Evening Meet Thursday 12th June

We held our last meet just outside Cambridge, and had planned to go west this month. Unfortunately plans have had to change so we now plan to head south.

The pub is the Chequers in Ugley. It is on the B1383 between Stansted Mountfitchet and Newport.

I plan to get there at 7PM, anyone else up for it?

i was thinking about giving the coupe a run, but its still having the clutch changed, if its ready by tomorrow i might pop down.

Confirming we're going + intending to get something to eat there. Prob be there between 7:15-7:30

Would be up for it but my rad is weeing all over the place at the moment. Needing topping up after every short journey. Just can't make it that far!

Norwich that would be a bit of a run, although we got someone from South London at Cambridge

We plan to aim for somewhere close to Peterborough for July, and then plan to head a bit further North (Possibly the Thetford area) for August. However if the turnouts remain low then perhaps the evening meets may need to be dropped.

I was going to start a thread to suggest a barby by the coast at some point during the summer. So I've put the idea here instead

Either Suffolk coast (Aldeburgh etc) or Essex coast (Frinton, walton etc).

I'll bring half a dozen disposable barbies, you all bring your own food/drink.

Meet after lunch somewhere, drive for an hour or so and then set-up and scoff.

What do people think?

I would deffo be up for that pilgrim. Let's hope we get some decent weather this summer...

Had a loss of power, and poor idling (especially when cold), so its in the garage as we speak. Hoping for good news tomorrow.

Hey Bob, I think the idea of a 'cruise to a pub' session sounds good. Could possibly meet at same place and find another pub in the area
