That from this thread Truffle?? it would be sweet to get a decent time to get everyone there, maybe sometime before people have to go back to work?

Re: Proper South Meet - 19/12/2006 01:55

I'd be interested in a South Coast meeting too, I'll watch out for locations and times.

@Truffle, where have you thought of for a country pub? I might have a few suggestions if you want them?

Re: Proper South Meet - 19/12/2006 20:28

Good choice, great food.

There's also the:
The Angel Inn, Longham, BH15 1NF
The Old Thatch, Stapehill, BH217NW
The Alice Lisle, Rockwood, nr Ringwood, New Forest, BH24 3NA

All have big car parks and food and are family friendly (good for keeping the other half and kids happy)

Re: Proper South Meet - 19/12/2006 21:29

i'll be happy if it's after the 22nd of Jan. I was forced to reschedule a new exhuast untill then due to (what turned out to be) a small coupe problem.

The beginning of feb would probably be ideal really cause then i would have had a chance to make sure the fueling is ok and not blow the car up as we cruise around.

Indeed it was a stop on a Coupe meet a few years back, there is a video floating around on here somewhere. Nice roads around there too \:#

That's probably a very good idea.

Suggest we set a date as soon as possible that's convenient to most of us, after all, they'll never be a date that suits us all.
Perhaps 2 dates & we can have a quick vote on which is best.

Besides, it's not as if it's a one off event, hopefully they'll be plenty of opportunities for us all to meet up over the coming year. \:\)
