Unfortunately I wont be able to attend this event this year as I've made the hard decision to declare the car off the road as our new home is taking up most of my time now.

Planning to have her back on the road next year though

Had a great time last year at this event, shame the weather didn't hold up.

Hi Guys,
We're booked for the event and look forward to seeing the 'hard core' on Sunday- weather looks to be good too!
Definitely not the Coupe as the works to put right the reversing into the telegraph pole incident are going to take longer than thought! AND
It won't be the Alfa Spider either as it didn't quite make it back to the UK in one piece whilst on our France tour!!- broke down on the A6 in Lyon with massive overheat and head gasket job! At least we caused a 20km traffic jam! Awaiting repatriation news!!

Bad/Sad news guys, wife has been asked to attend/lead a training course in Vienna end of week through the weekend and into next week, so I've got the kids and my Daughter has her best friends party on Sunday so I've got to take her to that instead, oh, what joy! Otherwise I would have bought them along. This is a double whammy as this would have been the last show of the year for me as t'coop will be SORN'ed as of the end of next month till next spring. This was also to be my last show as South East Rep. for the club. I am standing down due to too many other outside commitments for me to wholly support the club in all areas required as a Rep. It is a job I have enjoyed and will still participate in organising a few select events, but it will be down to you guys to step forward more and take a more active role in providing ideas and support for events. If there is anyone local that fancies having a go at being the club rep. for the area please get I contact with me and I'll put your name forward. Sorry guys & girls, but family must come first.

Sorry to hear you're stepping back a bit Ross , Jan and I have always been impressed with your energy and enthusiasm for the club, and we're sorry we couldn't participate as much as we'd like to have done this year, but as you say, family come first and foremost.

So many thanks for your efforts, hopefully you'll be back in the role one day.

You can, but you have to pay a fiver to get in

Ross, also sorry to hear you're stepping back, I always enjoy the shows you organise our participation at, as I'm always willing to travel over for them!

But as you quite rightly say, family comes first.

Hopefully someone else local to the SE steps up to maintain a presence at wings and wheels and the likes of this show.

It's unlikely that I will be up to it tomorrow. A massive migraine this afternoon means I am unlikely to have got rid of the headache in time.

Did anyone go

Myself and 4 other coupes turned-out. Personally had a great day, plus side weather was a big improvement over last year. Plan to go next year hopefully we'll get more coupes turning out.

Any pics? glad somebody turnred out, lack of response got me a little concerned
