Snetterton 300 Novice Day - 4th March - £79

I am thinking of booking this if I can get a day off as it is on Monday.
It's a full day with Club MSV. What you get is seven 15min sessions.
Just remember it's novice day and read their rules before booking.

It was a really good day, the track was dry and definitely not overcrowded. I met some very nice people like 9999 (Guy) in his beautiful silver 20V NA, steggi and two fellas in their track toy supercharged Lotus Elise S. Guy's car, standard apart from EBC Green Stuff pads, was absolutely amazing in the corners! That Subaru driver must had been well surprised

Personally, I was testing the D2 6-pots with 2-piece discs and EBC Blue Stuff and I must say that I was disappointed. They started to fade 10 minutes into each session and they didn't perform as good as the OEM Brembo, MTEC and OMP 971C pads combo which offered no fade and better stopping power. However, there's more than half of the EBC Blues left whereas I went through a set of 971C in one day

Also, I was testing my new tyres - Kumho Ecsta LE Sport KU39 - really, really good gripping tyres and very progressive too. Only downsize is that they scream as a [cloud9] pig! Just crazy loud when pushed to their limits

It was top fun. Having two cars and one in each session group was also a bag of fun - thanks Jack!!

The 20v went very well though note to self - replace tyres manufactured in the stone age...........
