I have this to go in, hopefully I'll have it running for the next Ace Cafe

But so far I have a 16VT running at 260bhp

Loom to go in,

The only connector to the main car loom and I think it should be the same

Hopefully I can get enough air movement into the wing into this oversized side mount intercooler wink laugh

Brakes almost ready for fitment, just waiting to receive 3L GTV hubs as it's cheaper then buying new 5 Stud flanges and wheel bearings to fit to the coupe hubs.

Re: GTV Q2 - 05/04/2011 20:03

OK, been checking routing for an intercooler, seems side mount is the way to go as front mount is almost impossible to fit without mutilating the bumper.

Need to find another water bottle for the washers as it's right in the way here.

Front mount possibilities seems a no go

Plenty of space for the SMIC down there, will need to sort a decet air pathway for it.

Re: GTV Q2 - 17/04/2011 22:53

Really not much to do now, bolt on the drive shafts, fabricate a oil cooler bracket, 2 pipes for the cooling system wire in the rad fan ad refit the interior laugh

All wiring fully spliced in laugh CODE system works aswell as all warning lights and gauges.

Once complete it should look like a standard install laugh

Re: GTV Q2 - 25/04/2011 19:50

Been working on the hubs and suspension today. Even if I'm a disc short

Fitted the 3L v6 hub with a newer wishbone, fitted brand new track rods and ends these are for a 20vt coupe from my 155 project. The abs wire was cut by the breaker so I'll splice it onto my existing sensor wire.

Fitted the coilovers from my 155 project. Need to get 155 top mounts as gtv ones are different. Also need coupe driveshafts, the donor had them but I had no means to get them off.

Old hub with tre, wishbone and driveshaft.

Brake installed with braided lines.

OK both sides are complete apart from driveshafts and top mounts smile brakes in and bled.

Fitted my Sparco in with my new harnesses, will get a black sparco someday smile
