I've just checked, they've put their prices up since I bought mine frown You might think those seats won't be very comfy, but they are cool

Jonny, do you have a link? Would it be stupid to replace standard leather seats with them for a daily driver?

Here's an example:

These are different to mine but highly recommended. They often do good deals too.

I drove down to London in my kit car the other day... 140 miles and the seats are very comfy. You can get padding for them if you wish. The weight saving is huge laugh

How safe are they in an accident?

Re: light weight seats - 16/03/2010 13:52

I think if I was in an accident in my coop i'd be proper brown bread! Not sure what the airbags are like i'd imagine water bomb sized. Though Silma at p.i managed to escape scott free after being sandwiched between 2 HGV's shocked

Re: light weight seats - 16/03/2010 14:59

Does anyone have accurate weights for the standard seats, both cloth and leather (and Recaros for that matter).

I recently noticed that the carrellis were 18-20kgs depending on PVC, Cloth, or Leather and though that was pretty high...

Re: light weight seats - 16/03/2010 15:14

cloth 16vt seats were 16,9kg / each
