iPhone problem - 05/02/2012 21:26
To say I'm annoyed is putting it very f**king mildly
I've had an iPhone 3GS for 2 years and have had no problems with it, until I updated to the latest operating system 5.0.1 around November/December.
Since then, it's hit and miss as to whether I can send MMS and the last 3 weeks or so, I'm lucky if I can make or receive a phone call.
02 initially said there was work going on in the area regarding similar complaints and to wait until that took place, before they sent me a new sim card. I asked them to send me a new sim card anyway, which they did.
After nothing changing and a lot of time searching about this fault, it seems it's an Apple problem with the latest operating system, which they seemingly refuse to recognise
I've done a factory restore on the phone, but it just restores it to the newest operating system
I've found files and info on the net with regards to rolling back to the previous 4.3 or 4.5 system, but I can't get it to work.
I've tried the 'contact us' bit on Apples website, but you have to pay for technical advice ffs
Seems loads of people are having this problem with the iPhone 4's and 4s's, as they run the newest operating system.
Does anyone have any idea when the next update is out or an easier way of rolling back to the 4.3 operating system?
I'm at my wits end now and have wasted loads of time trying to sort out a phone that should work as a f**king phone, like making and receiving calls, etc
